In less than 30 days, Haiti has been ravaged by four
separate storms. The damaging winds and rising waters of recent storms
Fay, Gustav, Hanna and Ike have left thousands of Haitians homeless
and suffering. The devastation is truly of great magnitude and
will require substantial resources. Big and small towns have
been literally wiped out, thousands are stranded and major roads have
been cutoff. Those who are stranded are facing death....
With the support of Medshare International, COADHA
will continue to ship medical containers in Haiti in 2008. The
shipments will help equip several rural clinics and a limited number
of hospitals.
